IN TOWN apartments

Welcome to our newly renovated apartments at Mammoth Hütte. We are located on the main road in downtown Mammoth Lakes, steps away from popular dining and less than a minute’s walk to a bus stop which offers easy access to Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. We want you to feel relaxed while on vacation and we strive to make every room feel like a cozy and comfortable retreat.

There are two buildings on the property.

For Mammoth Hutte #1-4 Parking is located in an enclosed garage that is equipped with EV level 2 charging (NEMA 14-50 outlet). The garages offer secure storage of skis/bikes and your cars will be kept warm and out of the snow. The apartments are located above the garages on the second floor with a set of indoor stairs to reach the entrance.

For Mammoth Hutte #5-9 Parking is located outside in the parking lot. There are no EV chargers for these apartments.

The space

You will enter the apartments into a great room that comfortably combines the living and kitchen spaces into one open living experience. A wall of windows makes the space open and bright.

The kitchen includes a microwave, 2- burner cook top, fridge, coffee maker and a full array of utensils, dishes, pot and pans, etc so you have all you need to cook meals. The dining table allows for comfortable food serving and eating space.

For your comfort, the bedroom has a queen or king-size Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress and the sofa bed has a queen or full sized Ashley Furniture quality memory foam mattress which means no springs.  Additionally, every window in the apartment is dressed with Eclipse Absolute Zero blackout curtains which will assist with getting a great night’s sleep.

The apartment offers high speed wifi and is equipped with a SmartTV for streaming movies and tv shows.

The apartment is child friendly.

Enhanced Cleaning

We offer no-contact/self-check-in services and follow industry standard enhanced cleaning policies between guests to ensure a clean and safe environment for your stay. 

Our Neighborhood

Free town shuttle stop less than a minute's walk. From the shuttle you have full access to Mammoth Mountain lodges and anyplace in town. From the Main Lodge to the apartment shuttle stop is less than 15 minutes. 

Restaurants: Upon waking up and smelling the fresh mountain air you can walk across the parking lot to The Warming Hut, a locally owned restaurant for great coffee and fantastic food. For lunch, if you want to change things up you can walk a half block to Roberto’s Café (Mexican food). For dinner there is Rafter’s Restaurant and Lounge (2 min walk). Many other restaurants are located within a 10 min walk. Including Dish Bistro, Red Lantern, Good Life Café, Giovanni’s Pizzeria, Mammoth Tavern.

Outdoor gear or rentals: Mammoth Mountaineering (1 min walk) , Kittredge Sports and Footloose Sport (10 min walk)

Grocery stores- Vons (5 min walk), Grocery Outlet (6 min walk)

Pharmacy- RiteAid (7 min walk)

Gas Station- Shell (0.4 miles)
